“Thank you sooo much, Alice. You were fabulous and the pictures are so lovely! I can’t express my gratitude.”
The wedding day
Last week Emily and Tom got married in the beautiful city of York. It was one of the first absolutely perfect spring days. We couldn’t believe our luck with all the daffodils beaming and the sun shining on our faces. This and Emily and Tom’s happy, relaxed personalities made for wonderful and fun wedding pictures.
Emily and Tom had been engaged for a few years prior to their wedding and found it hard to plan a big do or even decide on what to do. I can totally relate! So over Christmas they made the decision to “just do it” and it was perfect. When I spoke to Emily she said she wanted natural, relaxed and fun wedding photography. Yay, that is what my wedding photography is all about!
The wedding ceremony
They had an intimate wedding ceremony at York registry office with only their parent’s present. I couldn’t believe when Emily told me that they managed to keep it a secret until the day which made it feel even more exciting to see them reveal their marriage alongside their wedding pictures.
Wedding photography at York’s museum gardens
After the registry office we went for a walk in the museum gardens in York for some more couple and little group photos. I then gave them both a big squish before they headed off to a countryside pub to spend some more time with their parents and enjoy their first exciting hours as husband and wife.
Huge congratulations to you both! I absolutely loved being a part of your wedding day. I am such a softy as I just shed a tear over your wedding slideshow ;).
