“I can’t recommend Alice enough. She put us both at ease the whole day and we felt like we had known her years, she is an amazing photographer!”
I had an absolutely wonderful day joining Natalie and Adam as their Whitely Hall Hotel wedding photographer.
Getting ready at Whitley Hall Hotel
I joined Natalie and the girls in the morning at Whitley Hall Hotel in Sheffield and my lovely colleague Rhi joined Adam and his friends at their home. The morning was full of laughter and relaxed atmosphere until that turning point which I absolute love. The dress comes out, dad is waiting outside the door and guests start to arrive. Natalie and Adam where so relaxed all throughout their planning and suddenly it all became real. Deep breaths, anticipation and lots of emotions to photograph. Yay!
The wedding reception at Whitley Hall Hotel
The rooms in which Whitley Hall Hotel hosts their weddings had recently been refurbished. This made for light and warm wedding photos during the ceremony and we made great use of the new outside decking area for their wedding couple photos. They even had music playing outside which helped to relax Natalie and Adam for their photos. Wait? Did I say relax? Especially Adam had told me in advance how little he likes having his photo taken but hey, he was a natural. Couple photos are really about having a laugh together and for my couple to have a little time out on this big, exciting day. My favourite moment was when I took some portraits of Natalie, a romantic song was playing and Adam shed a little tear in the background just watching his beautiful bride beaming with happiness. I love my job as Yorkshire wedding photographer so much!
The evening wedding do
I was there to photograph their heartwarming and very teary speeches. It was hard for me not to dwell up myself with so many emotions going on ;). I absolutely loved seeing how proud and happy Natalie and Adam’s friends and family were for them both. Everyone enjoyed a fabulous meal before some more time with family and friends and more wedding couple portraits. By then is was time to get the party started! And wow, there was some awesome dance moves and lots of fun going on there.
Thank you so much Natalie and Adam for letting me join your wonderful day as your Whitley Hall Hotel wedding photographer.
I wish you the best life together!
