Family photography celebrating times of togetherness

It has been quiet on my blog and generally on all social media because life! There has just been too much to process and with homeschooling and extra client care for rescheduled weddings and trying to keep the business afloat, I found it hard to do anything extra. Sometimes it just all gets too much and I can’t wait for this to be over. Can you relate?

But then I remember again how wonderful and precious it is to spend so much time with my loved ones around me and that we will never get this back. I have slowly started getting the camera out again and doing some family self portraits to also remember this special time in a positive way and to capture these precious and happy memories for my son Oskar. When he grows older and asks me: “Mummy, what did we do during the corona virus?” I can show him the pictures and say: “Well, we spent time eating ice cream, reading books, listening to Harry Potter and playing in the garden A LOT. You learned to use roller skates and saw a tadpole grow into a tiny frog. And if you want to know what we all looked like then and where we lived, here is a picture for you.”

Get your own lockdown family portrait and raise money for the NHS

Last week I wanted to do something more and create those memories for people around me whilst raising money for our absolutely awesome NHS. It has been a wonderful week doing what I love again and capturing all these happy, smiling faces.

How do I book a slot?

Just get in touch via email or use my contact form to book a time slot that suits you. I come to your doorstep and/or back garden in York for your mini session which takes about 10 minutes. We then have a laugh and I take pictures of you all following socially distancing government guidelines. Easy!

What do I get?

You get one beautiful family portrait ready to print for which I ask for a donation to the NHS of £10. Win, win <3

Can we get any more photos than that?

Yes, I will deliver all your images (around 10) in your own personal online gallery and you have the option to buy any other family photos you’d like. Absolutely no must though.
